Restaurant Goldmarie in Greifswald

I had pre-ordered lunch to take away. To be honest, I expected a lot more from the Goldmarie's reputation. On the phone, the person was pretty rude. I wanted to pre-order on Monday for Friday and was stifled quite uncomprehendingly that I should call again on Friday, after all, you don't know whether the court would be there. Okay, I don't understand that by pre-order, but okay. On Friday, it was similarly brief (that's what I call it). The food wasn't bad. But unfortunately not more. I found the plastic styrofoam plate unpleasant, it just smelled ole. The portion was large, but unspectacular. I would have preferred a little less (couscous, sauce and chicken for 12 euros are not exactly a bargain) and a dish that makes a professional impression. I'm sorry if that sounds devastating now. It was okay in terms of taste, but not a hit. Maybe it's the lockdown.

Food and drinks are okay, otherwise very loud and not really comfortable

A very nice restaurant with a modern menu consisting of various freshly prepared dishes. I had a colorful Bartower organic tomato salad with Hohnwiedener cream cheese, plus a large dark beer on tap. Plus a portion of quesadillas with pulled pork. My son had a schnitzel with french fries and salad and a Fritz lemonade with it. It took a while to order, but there was also a wedding party there. You can sit outside here, nice and quiet, and yet very nice when the sun is shining. The staff was very friendly and quick, the food was simply brilliant. Top freshness, the quesadillas were served with fresh guakemole and quark. A real pleasure. The schnitzel was excellent and the pommade made very crispy. I've already eaten in star kitchens, and this was a really big movie. Definitely highly recommended in terms of price and taste, even with children. Thank you for this nice hospitality.

An initially clear range of dishes turns out to be an extremely good choice. The dishes are good to very good, the staff is friendly and motivated and the interior is pleasant and modern.

Modern location in the side street. A bit inconspicuous from the outside, but handsome on the inside. Changing dishes on the daily menu.

Can definitely keep up with the big city! I come from Berlin and eat a lot there. Goldmarie definitely surprised me very positively and convinced me 120%. The menu is clear, but the goat cheese salad and burger were both excellent. The waiter was very, very nice, although the poor man was on duty alone (on a Saturday evening in midsummer). Chapeaux! Outside terrace was nice, but you should reserve on weekends. Would come again anytime ?

Large portion and just delicious! Not a huge menu, but something for everyone! Definitely worth it! Nice ambience in the restaurant and backyard.

Great backyard and concept, the Angus burger was great and the fries nice and crispy. The nice service was particularly noteworthy.

We are delighted to serve schnitzel and fries with salad in our own dressing. I thought I was in an XXL restaurant for only 12.50. Salad was fresh and crunchy, schnitzel huge and crispy and none of it dripped with fat like you know it. Have not eaten so well in a long time!

Approx. 10 often changing dishes on the menu, some with very exclusive drinks. Quality of the food and especially the service is very good. Reserving a table in the cold months is imperative at peak times. An outdoor area in the warmer months.

Will definitely miss Goldmarie. The service is like none other and quickly became our favorite date night spot. If you want an experience where the staff is so attentive that they remember your drink order from the first time you came in, this is the place.

Has recipes that are 100% authentic and also, as an American: one of the best places to get a burger. Service is legendary and we will definitely be back with friends and family.

The food was delicious and very fresh and very rich. The Soljanka and the green noodles, as well as the Schnitzel were delicious and very plentiful. The value for money is reasonable, drinks are reasonably priced.

No vegetarian selection other than pasta. They make their own bread, drinks are nice and all menu items are decorated with style. The owner speaks English, so do the waiters. Toilet is 2 floors down and usually smells bad. It is not part of the restaurant, but from the building in which the restaurant is located. However, you have no other option but passing through the smelly corridor on the way to the restaurant, and you have to use the toilet eventually.

The food was great, the service wonderful and welcoming and the chef was friendly and informative. We will be going back!

The ambient really nice, the service really friendly and they talk English (a plus) the food cooked with love and to perfection... The only downside if you go for the first time you find out that there is no menu on the table but you have to go back to the bar to see the menu on the wall but in general great place
